Updating hackintosh to 10 5 6
As far as I know there is only one product out there that will do that – Super Duper!
I installed the product and I printed the manual — yes, the entire manual.
The official page from Apple tends to be the first search result.
Alternatively, you can find a link to the combo update on tonymacx86-- the news post for each system update includes a download link to the combo update. NOTE: Another advantage of a combo update is that it allows you to skip intermediary updates.
If my machine were to die, I thought I might need the procedure to restore it printed out. I used that new Acomdata drive as a backup device and I started the imaging/backup process. application is very easy to use and the interface is very simple (yet powerful.) It took about 3 hours to get everything over to the external drive.
The drive now contained an image that I could boot from if need be.
The easiest way to find a combo update is to directly search for it through Google.

However, please think about using the NVInject Installer located here — it makes install them a lot easier!
